Project Development Manager – Wind
Location: Braunschweig (Hybrid working)
Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are partnering with a dynamic and growing renewable energy developer to recruit an experienced Project Development Manager – Wind to join their team. This role sits within the project development function and will play a key role in identifying, progressing, and realising wind energy projects across Germany.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate project opportunities across wind energy, including technical feasibility and commercial potential
Secure land rights through negotiation and conclusion of lease and purchase agreements
Lead and coordinate multi-stakeholder engagement with landowners, partners, authorities, and consultants
Manage project progress across development milestones, ensuring timelines and targets are met
Coordinate external partners and service providers as needed for project advancement
Prepare high-quality project documentation including decision templates, internal reports, and presentations
Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes within the project development team
Your Profile
University degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, Geography, Real Estate, Business, or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience in the development, management, or acquisition of wind energy projects
Ability to confidently interpret and apply regulatory frameworks, environmental requirements, and contract principles
Strong negotiation skills and competency in securing land and project rights
High level of organisational independence, initiative, and a solution-oriented mindset
Willingness to travel across Germany as required
Excellent communication skills in German and English
