Project Development Manager - Solar

🔹 Project Development Manager – Solar PV

Location: Germany

Viridis Talent are retained by a leading renewable energy developer to recruit a Project Development Manager to support the expansion of large-scale solar PV projects across Germany. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of land acquisition, permitting, and stakeholder management, working closely with local authorities and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of project development from initiation to approval, including:

    • Negotiations with landowners and lease agreements

    • Coordination of back-office support in line with internal processes

    • Time, schedule, contract, and cost control throughout project phases

  • Lead discussions with external planners, municipalities, and local authorities

  • Prepare, review, and manage project documentation using standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory frameworks

Requirements

  • High degree of self-organisation, motivation, and independence

  • Skilled in negotiation and stakeholder management

  • Strong commitment to renewable energy and photovoltaic solutions

  • Fluent German (written & spoken)

  • Willingness to travel within Germany

  • Valid car driving licence

Desirable (Not Mandatory)

  • Prior experience in project development for solar farms or comparable renewable energy projects

Training: Full job training will be provided to all new employees before commencing practical project work.
